John Reinhart

President

John Reinhart, CPA, MBA, specializes in developing profitable business models for innovative solutions. Since 2009, John has devoted his life’s work to improve long-term care for seniors. He has held senior leadership roles with Signature Healthcare and Integritas LTC and co-founded Innovate LTC. John is also an acclaimed public speaker and is passionate about sharing his vision for topics such as “Technology That Helps Aging Care” and “The Aging Caregivers Experience.”

Jeff Amrein

CEO

Jeff is a visionary executive with expertise in business planning, strategy development and information technology systems development. He has written and been featured in numerous articles regarding his vision for electronic medical records in healthcare as well as his entrepreneurial spirit. Jeff is an expert solutions designer who leads the creation of user-friendly solutions. He has held senior leadership roles with Allscripts, Inc., American Micro System, Inc. and MainLink Internet Service, Inc. as well as founded many successful startup companies.

Garth Egbert

Chief Technology Officer

Garth Egbert started off as an automation engineer in manufacturing gaining experience developing network enabled applications. Work experience lead to projects including network design and security, database design, and eventually web enabled applications and virtual infrastructure management. Academic Platforms has presented opportunities to evaluate and launch Learning Management System platforms, development of associated LTI applications, and continued process design and system integration.

Gwynette Winstead

Director of Sales

Gwynette Winstead is experienced in contract negotiation in complex sales cycles and employing consultative solution selling techniques to help both parties win. She brings a background in medical software and service sales, as well as business development in the healthcare industry and has worked for companies such as Dell, Conexxus, Allscripts and WebMD.

Julie Gdowski

Clinical and Curriculum Development

Julie’s career path in long term care began as a CNA, and from there she obtained an LPN, Associate RN, BSN and NHA license. She has been in long term care for 29 years, and 27 of of those years were spent at one building.  She held numerous positions as a nurse; from Medicare Coordinator, House Supervisor, Unit Manager, DON and administrator. She is currently assisting with course development, working with regulators, and teaching AHCA online courses.

Tillis James

Director of Learning Development

Tillis has a Masters Degree from Troy University. Her experience in problem solving, project management, human resources and training brought her to lead our Learning Development Department. Her department specializes in custom course development, specialty design, video/audio recording, training and support for several universities and the CNAOnline.com program.
